William Shakespeare's School, Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Originally a Guild Hall, built in 1428. Elizabethan Stratford’s school was housed in the town's half-timbered guildhall. This was a building constructed by the medieval Guild of the Holy Cross over a 150 years before William Shakespeare was born. Shakespeare was born in April, 1564 in and later studied Latin at this school. Today, this half timbered schoolroom is still used by pupils of King Edward VI School.
